Guided visit to The Monastery of Iranzu

The Monastery de Irantzu is one of the most important patrimonial structures in the Estella region. Enjoy a guided tour in which the history, art, culture and aspects of customs of the Romanesque Cistercian of the Monastery will be explained. Visit all the rooms of the Monastery in privileged environment at the foothills of the Nature park of Urbasa y Andía.
This year has been inaugurated an exposition “Maestros de la hidraúlica” (Hydraulic masters) over the medieval piping in the Monastery from the 12th Century.

The Monasterio de Iranzu is one of the patrimonial cornerstones in the Estella region.

The whole visit is accompanied with anecdotes and details of the life of the monks of the Monastery from the Medieval era (the 12th Century) passing through the Ecclesiastical Confiscations and the subsequent abandonment and recuperation of the Monastery.
