Guided Tour to Tandem Winery. Lorca

Tandem wineries offers a guided tour where the architecture of the winery itself, the wine and the Camino de Santiago are the main characters of the visit.
Facing north, the winery has been built entirely in concrete, so that the most optimal temperature is naturally maintained for the production and aging of the wines.
A large front skylight stands out, which at night is illuminated recalling the old custom of the Camino de Santiago, when churches and chapels lit up their towers to attract pilgrims on their way to Compostela.
The elaboration is carried out on two levels: on the upper level the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks with punching pistons. The concrete tanks to which we decant the wines by gravity are on the lower level. We age our wines in 300 litre French oak barrels.
